I’m Fabio, Trumpet is my passion. This is my story.
Having received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Southern California, I finished my graduate level studies at the American Band College at Southern Oregon University, where I received a master’s degree in conducting. I get to regularly,play trumpet, conduct clinics and serve as an adjudicator throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County area. I have formal teaching experience at the High School level as the Director of Bands and Department Chair for the Visual & Performing Arts at Workman High School, and also at the college level as Faculty at Azusa Pacific University and at Citrus College.
As a professional trumpet player, I have toured both the US and the UK. With trumpet in hand, I have had the privilege to record and/or perform alongside some of the most credited jazz legends, gospel musicians, and pop artists such as Ariana Grande, Andy Grammer, Louie Belson, Poncho Sanchez, Paul Anka, Bebe Winans, Tommy Walker, The Temptations, and The Four Tops. I regularly perform around Southern California with big bands, musicals, salsa bands, gospel groups, horn sections, and I also make regular appearances as lead trumpet for the Disneyland Band.
